Website Terms of Use

Effective date: October 18, 2026

These terms govern access to the Potluck Labs, Inc. corporate website at potluck.software. Separate terms may apply to individual products and paid subscriptions.

Company identity and scope

Potluck Labs, Inc. is a United States corporation. These website terms apply only to potluck.software, not to separately branded software products unless their own terms expressly say so.

Website information

This site provides general information about our company and research. Descriptions of potential products or research areas do not promise a product launch, specific features, or continued availability.

Acceptable use

You may view and share links to our website for lawful purposes. You may not use it to disrupt operations, attempt unauthorized access, or violate applicable laws.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website's original written content and branding belong to Potluck Labs, Inc. Third-party marks remain with their respective owners.

External services

We may link to external websites. Their terms and policies apply independently, and we are not responsible for their content or operations.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the corporate website is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Applicable law and disputes

Subject to mandatory consumer protections and any separately signed agreement, these website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without applying conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute process or venue applicable to a paid engagement must be stated in the signed agreement. This paragraph does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these website terms. Questions can be directed to [email protected].

Marketing, automation and professional services

Marketing, design, custom software, automation, ghostwriting, and publishing engagements require a mutually accepted written statement of work. Proposals should specify scope, fees, currency, deliverables, dependencies, third-party costs, milestones, review periods, and termination provisions. No campaign results, rankings, sales, platform acceptance, or automation outcomes are guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Client materials and confidentiality

Clients are responsible for having permission to provide text, images, datasets, credentials, and other materials for a project. Confidentiality, access controls, use of third-party AI systems, and ownership or licensing of deliverables must be addressed in the signed agreement. Do not send credentials or sensitive materials through an unsolicited email.

Professional services and scope

Any software development, ghostwriting, editing, or publishing assistance provided directly by Potluck Labs requires an accepted proposal or statement of work describing deliverables, fees, schedule, revisions, rights, and payment terms. This website is not itself a purchase agreement.

Publishing rights and responsible use

Customers must have rights to any source materials they submit. Ownership of commissioned manuscripts, code, or other work is determined by the signed client agreement; no transfer is implied merely by making an inquiry. We do not promise publication, commercial success, copyright registration, or retailer acceptance.

PocketAuthor and software credits

PocketAuthor is separately branded. Its own legal seller, credit pricing, billing terms, refund rules, and data policies must be disclosed by the product before any transaction. Potluck Labs does not sell transferable, redeemable, or cash-equivalent credits on this corporate website.
